The producing plant is responsible for the mix, its quality, ASTM C94 conformance, NRMCA certification where applicable, and compliance with specifications. How does Cronomix work?
Cronomix is an online platform that connects your jobsite with the nearest independent concrete plant. You calculate the volume you need, get an instant price, pick a delivery date and pay online — we coordinate the order with a local supplier who batches and delivers the concrete to your site.
Who is responsible for the quality of the concrete?
The producing plant manufactures the concrete and is responsible for its mix, strength, finish and certification. Cronomix is a sourcing and coordination platform — we don't batch or test concrete. Many of our partner plants follow ASTM C94 and hold NRMCA certification.
How is the price calculated? Are there hidden fees?
Your price is based on the mix strength (PSI), the volume, the delivery distance to the nearest plant, and any options you add (line/boom pump, extra pumped volume, fiber). In some cases a short-load fee may apply to small orders, and the applicable sales tax is shown separately (except for tax-exempt customers). Depending on the payment method, bank fees may apply. Every charge appears in your quote before you pay — nothing hidden.
How much concrete should I order?
Use our free calculator to estimate the volume from your project's dimensions. We add a safety margin (5% by default, adjustable) so you don't run short of material on the delivery day. If you already know your volume, you can enter it directly and go straight to a quote.
Can I change my delivery date or time after ordering?
Yes. From your account, under "Current orders", you can change the delivery date or time slot up to 2 hours before the scheduled delivery. After that, changes are locked.
Which areas do you deliver to?
Cronomix currently serves the greater Houston, Texas metro area. Enter your jobsite ZIP code when requesting a quote to be matched with the closest partner plant.
Is there a minimum order?
There's no hard minimum, but small orders may carry a fee depending on the case. The fee is shown clearly in your quote before you confirm.
How do I pay, and is it secure?
Pay securely online via Zelle, ACH, or by card through Stripe.
What if my jobsite is hard to access?
You're responsible for providing safe access and for informing us before delivery of any situation that could make unloading the truck difficult. If a truck is asked to leave the paved or public area, you assume responsibility for any resulting damage. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
How do I coordinate my order?
24 hours before your delivery, a communication group will be opened between you, the dispatcher and Cronomix to coordinate your order with full confidence.
